Merchavelo Inventory · Shopify app
Purchasing and stock for stores with more than one location.
Write purchase orders, receive them in parts, match every invoice, spread freight across the right units and approve the new cost before Shopify sees it. Then count, transfer and reorder from the same record.

How a delivery moves
From supplier to shelf, in five steps.
Each step updates the same record, so a question about stock or cost can be traced back to where it started.
- 01
Order
A purchase order per supplier and destination store, with supplier SKUs and case packs.
- 02
Receive
Partial deliveries, scanned or typed, with accepted and rejected units.
- 03
Invoice
Several invoices matched to the lines they charge for.
- 04
Cost
Freight and duty allocated, then a manager approves the new cost.
- 05
Reorder
Suggestions from recent sales, stock on hand and units already on the way.
Five workflows
Pick the part that costs you the most time.
Purchasing & receiving
Purchase orders that stay open until the last unit arrives.

Cost review
A late freight bill gets a revision, not an overwrite.
When freight arrives after you approved a cost, Inventory records a dated revision and marks the earlier approval as outdated. A manager reviews the new landed cost before Shopify changes.

Four rules Inventory keeps
Built so the record still holds up months later.
When a supplier disputes a delivery or your accountant asks where a cost came from, the answer should already be written down.
- 1
Stock moves when a receipt is processed.
Saving a draft or opening a purchase order never changes Shopify quantities. Accepted units reach the destination location when the receipt is processed.
- 2
Posted records stay as posted.
A correction is a new reversal or adjustment with a reason and a name. The original receipt is still there when the supplier asks about it.
- 3
A person approves every cost change.
Inventory previews the new landed unit cost. A manager approves it before Shopify’s cost field changes, and sees that the field applies at every location.
- 4
History never adds stock.
Imported Stocky records go into an archive. They feed your reports and never receive the same units a second time.
Questions
Before you ask.
When can I install Inventory?
Inventory is preparing for release. Request early access and we’ll email you when it can be installed on your store.
How will it be billed?
Through Shopify’s app billing, once Inventory is released. Pricing will be shown on the listing before you install.
Does it replace my accountant’s valuation?
No. Inventory-value reports are estimates based on the cost basis you choose. They are useful for buying decisions and are not accounting-grade valuation.
What equipment do I need?
A browser on a desktop or tablet. A USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner helps but is optional. Labels download as a PDF for your own printer.
Can I bring my Stocky history?
Yes. Stocky CSV exports can be previewed, mapped and archived without changing current stock. See History & migration.
