Inventory · 04 · Planning & reporting

The next order, with its reasons showing.

Set minimum and maximum levels per location. Inventory suggests what to order from recent sales, stock on hand, stock already on the way, supplier lead times and case packs, and shows the formula behind every number.

Formula and inputs shown on every line

Illustration with sample data: suggestions rounded to case packs.

The problem

Reordering by feel gets expensive.

“order 24”

A suggestion you can’t check.

A tool says “order 24”. Without the sales window and the formula, there is no way to tell whether that number suits your store.

10 incoming

Ordering what is already coming.

Units on an open purchase order get ordered again because the reorder sheet only looks at the shelf.

cases of 6

Quantities the supplier won’t ship.

A suggestion of 7 when the supplier ships in cases of 6 means fixing every line by hand.

How it works

Suggestions you can check line by line.

Inventory proposes a quantity. You decide what gets ordered.

  1. 01

    Set the rules

Minimum and maximum per location, safety stock, and each supplier’s lead time and case pack.

  2. 02

    Read the demand

Sales from the last 28 days by default, with the period shown. Products without enough history are flagged, and online sales without a reliable location are shown separately.

  3. 03

    Review the suggestion

Each line shows stock on hand, incoming units, the formula and the rounded quantity. Turn the lines you accept into a purchase order.

  4. 04

    Report and label

Filter reports by location, supplier and date and export them as CSV. Download barcode labels as a PDF, with quantities based on accepted units.

On the record

Reports included.

Every report filters by location, supplier and date, and exports as CSV.

  • Open purchase orders and overdue deliveries
  • Receiving history per location
  • Supplier spend by date range
  • Invoice discrepancies
  • Receipt-level cost history
  • Barcode and price labels as PDF, from a PO or receipt

Questions

Before you ask.

How is the forecast worked out?

From recent sales over a 28-day window by default. The window, the inputs and the formula are shown with each suggestion, and products with too little history are flagged.

Can I print labels?

Labels download as a PDF. Print them on your own label printer or office printer.

What do labels need?

Existing product barcodes. Missing or duplicate barcodes are flagged so you can fix them first.

Can I export reports?

Yes. Reports filter by location, supplier and date, and export as CSV.
