We build the back-room software retail runs on.
Merchavelo is a brand of Zentara LLC. We make Shopify apps for the work between a supplier’s invoice and a product on the shelf, and we build custom apps for businesses whose process doesn’t fit a ready-made one.
Why this work
Stock records are only useful if people trust them.
Shopify is moving merchants from Stocky to its own inventory features and other apps. Merchant requests in Shopify’s community kept naming the same gaps: barcode receiving, several invoices per purchase order and landed-cost adjustments that arrive after the stock.
Inventory is built around those requests and is preparing for release. Its pages, our journal and our policies describe what it does and where its limits are, so you can judge it before you install anything.
The name Merchavelo covers more than one app. Inventory and PackReturn are preparing for release. Each app has its own overview, privacy information and support route in the app directory.
How we build
Three rules for every app.
Approval before change
Anything that changes Shopify stock or cost waits for the right person to process or approve it.
Plain limits
We say what an app does not do: no accounting-grade valuation, no offline stock changes, no printing inside the app.
